About Me
Working experience for me started way before I was on any payroll. I grew up in the boardrooms of a family owned insurance business. This experience from a has moulded my ‘professional’ career to an insurance focussed driven direction with a keen eye for risks and also learnt which ones I am willing to take along the way.
I’d like to think of myself as a bit of an opportunity seeker because for as long as I can remember, I have always had more than one business interest, even when I formally employed by someone else. I am proud to have started multiple businesses and sold them along the way. The industries are varied but where I have a keen interest at the time: professional makeup, business consulting, marketing, content & online media, pets to online e-commerce.
By the age of 25, I took the leap to start my own short term insurance brokerage which was my first time being not only formally 100% self employed but also a formal employer for my high performing team members.
